Play Therapy: Expressive Arts

Earners of this designation have the skills to utilize expressive modalities such as art, music, drama, storytelling, movement and poetry with tweens, teens and other populations. Earners are able to identify archetypes, symbols and metaphors in expressive and play therapy work. They are able to explain and apply Gestalt theory in a play therapy setting. Earners can compile materials for a variety of populations, ages and developmental stages for client in-depth self expression in a safe space.
