Complete GERM 1113 with a grade of C or better.

Earners will: demonstrate a novice level of proficiency in the four basic language skills: 1) reading words, phrases, simple sentences and questions; 2) writing words, phrases, simple sentences and questions; 3). listening and identifying words, phrases, simple sentences, and questions; and 4) speaking and asking questions and sentences, showing emerging evidence to engage in simple conversations.
