Career Launchpad - Industry Expert (2022)

Through engaging in active career conversations with secondary school students, earners have participated in multiple short interviews where they shared their own career tips, advice and experiences. Earners supported students to gain insight into their industry have shared their expertise that has allowed students to unpack multiple career pathways and occupations. Earners have supported excellence in STEAM as part of the Victorian Government's Tech Schools Initiative.

Earning Criteria

  • Short interviews - Earners have participated in multiple short interviews with a variety of students, where they answered individual questions from each student. Through their responses, they have shared their experience and expertise with secondary school students.
  • Unpacked career pathways - Earners have assisted students to unpack different career pathways through engaging in active, personalised conversations with a variety of students.
  • Career Launchpad - An initiative by Monash Tech School hosted at the Monash University Woodside Building for Technology and Design. It was opened by Victoria's Lead Scientist. 44 industry professionals from a diverse range of industries who are contributing to positive social change were invited to speed network with 86 students.
