Earning Criteria
-
Complete the Capstone Experience, a culminating team project of at least 20 hours over a 7 week or more time period. During the Bootcamp, participants are immersed in IBM Security, from learning about the BU strategy and how they fit into IBM, to Design Thinking and Agile practices, learning about IBM Security products and services, client advocacy and more.
-
After completing bootcamp, participants will form teams and be assigned an IBM Security project that they will develop and work on in addition to their normally assigned work. Each team will have a technical coach, and will work collaboratively and remotely with their teammates. Participants must draw upon the skills and knowledge they have gained from their roles so far in IBM as well as what they learned during bootcamp, with the goal of producing a final deliverable for key stakeholders.
-
Upon the team's completion of their deliverable, they must build a presentation show casing what their project was, their approach to the project, methods of working, and their final deliverable. The team will present to executives, managers, and their peers. Only those team members who stay committed and contributing through the final deliverable and presentation are awarded the Capstone badge.
