Earner has shown commitment to their skill development by attending a multi-day intensive course to understand and experience how you can use design thinking to unlock creativity and innovation through play. This will allow earner to use design thinking processes to solve problems in their world in an engaging and fun way.

Earner has gained, through discovery, real word skills, tools, and creative confidence to improve their own professional practice and facilitate design thinking for clients with a playful mindset. For example, how to interview product users, define the problem space, generate ideas, make tangible solutions, test and demonstrate a prototype product, and tell compelling stories.

Earner has demonstrated strong social and communication skills by participating in sessions done with small groups (4-6) and the whole cohort (15-30). They have shown confidence by showcasing their design thinking skills in the teaching/facilitating session and within several challenges for an audience consisting of educators, students, faculty, and Alumni (10-30).

Earner has applied their learning to design and facilitate a bespoke session using a design thinking and playful mindset. By using design thinking processes in combination with activities that can change how we communicate, engage, think and reflect, earner has experienced how they themselves can apply this within their own professional practice.
