Students of this program connect, learn from each other and collaborate with another classroom in the Americas. In the end, they earn the Global Competence Certificate, which features tangible, key 21st century global skills. This program is funded by the Stevens Initiative, which is housed at the Aspen Institute and is supported by the Bezos Family Foundation.

20 hours of self-paced video-modules, case studies, quizzes, assignments, reflections and collaborative forum engagement
Solid understanding and application of AFS' core educational goals: self-awareness, awareness of others, managing emotional responses and bridging across differences
8-10 hours of virtual exchange encounters with another classroom in the Americas, led by an educator of this program
