Earning Criteria
-
Given a scenario, write a proposal to key stakeholders within a company or organization advocating for alternatives to accessibility overlays, including how such alternatives can be implemented from a practical standpoint.
-
Given a scenario, timeline, and the templates provided, create an accessibility testing plan defining the goals and requirements for testing, including a full scope for the pages, workflows, and components identified for testing.
-
Using independent and pair testing methods, test a given website and iOS native app using the scope created in Part 2 of this capstone. Identify barriers and issues compared to expected behavior, documenting the issues in the template provided, including the WCAG reference and high-level recommendation for remediation.

Create an executive summary report, summarizing the tested products’ current accessibility trends and recommendations for the company’s next steps toward increased digital inclusion. Within that report, create an at-a-glance report card breakdown to be used to analyze and demonstrate progress toward these established accessibility goals.
-
Earn a minimum score of 85% overall for the Apprenticeship Capstone, with each section scored on an established rubric provided to apprentices prior to beginning the assessment.
