I like my scifi as hard as possible but wouldn't mind considering some epic fantasy elements. Romance though is something that goes well only with drama (imo, ofcourse ppl) and that is the reason I don't like any of that smooth stuff in my serious space stories. But if you have a good story Im sure there are people who'd love to read it. Even if people wouldn't find it I suggest you write that story! I really can't come up with any reasons not to write a book. Even if it is a scifi romance from a female author..
