Earners of the Gold Key Society badge Membership is limited to 10% of a graduating class. Members are selected by their fellow classmates. Final term 3rd Year students are eligible for membership. The AOSA has named Gold Key membership as “The highest honor for leadership a student of optometry can achieve.” This society was created to recognize optometry students who demonstrate leadership to their class, college, and profession.
