Practical Management of Anticoagulation

This credential recognizes successful completion of the 3.0 hour Practical Management of Anticoagulation program. This program seeks to provide pharmacists with a review of thromboembolic risk factors and coagulation disorders. Utilizing current guidelines and recommendations, this program provides pharmacists with the tools necessary to provide routine management of anticoagulant therapy in outpatient settings. Key concepts are reinforced though case applications.

Earning Criteria

In order to earn credit for this course, participants must pass a final assessment with a score of 70% or higher. Two chances to pass the final assessment will be given. If a passing score is not earned by the second attempt, the participant must re-enroll in the course. Upon successful completion of all coursework, participants must complete a course evaluation form.

This program is approved for 3.0 general hours of continuing education for Pharmacist licensure renewal by the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
This program is approved for 3.0 general hours of continuing education for Consultant Pharmacist licensure renewal by the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
