The Early Career Program is a comprehensive blended learning experience that prepares emerging talent for roles in our Distribution Organization. Group Benefit sales trainees who are awarded this badge have successfully fulfilled all requirements of the Early Career Program and are ready to move into production in their designated market.

Earning Criteria

Participants are required to complete a comprehensive learning program that includes passing a final capstone project. The program consists of an online learning curriculum, weekly cohort calls, live and virtual training academies as well as hands on field learning activities which include shadowing and role rotations. Each participant is assigned a mentor to help with the transition of knowledge into real world application.

Throughout the program participants are required to learn about Guardian products, processes, and systems. They also learn selling skills and soft skills such as time management and relationship building skills. Participants must also embrace and live our company values to bring Guardian’s purpose of inspiring well-being for our colleagues, customers, and communities to life.
