Canadian Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CCRC)
CCRCs demonstrate the breadth and depth of knowledge & skills necessary to serve individuals with disabilities across a wide range of disabling conditions. The certificant uses a unique and broad range of highly specialized services to evaluate, determine, coordinate, and manage any or all necessary services throughout the rehabilitation process. The certificant serves as the bridge between the individual and a self-sufficient, fully integrated life.

Earning Criteria

Must be a student enrolled in or a graduate of a graduate master’s-level rehabilitation counseling or clinical rehabilitation program accredited by CACREP; a student enrolled in or graduate of a master’s level rehabilitation counseling or clinical rehabilitation counseling program not accredited by CACREP or CORE; or a graduate of a master’s or doctoral program in a related field of study.

Must complete an internship of 600 hours supervised by an on-site CRC or a faculty member who is a CRC.

Must have passed the CCRC Exam.
