Policing across the world has undergone a critical transformation in the last decade. In the last few years, with the advancement in technology, policing has adopted the use of new technological tools, such as in-car computing, and mobile phones to ease its operations. The Macquarie University: Big Data Society - Intelligence-Led Policing Hackathon had participants use SAS Viya to design the best algorithm to assist police investigators in decision making.
