Level 4 Assessor Coach
Earners of this badge have demonstrated competence as an Assessor Coach based on the occupational standard published by IFATE. This includes applied knowledge of relevant initial and diagnostic assessment and liaising with employers, colleagues and others to support learners’ development. Skills and behaviours demonstrated include encouraging mutual respect, and evaluating and improving their own practice in relation to the Professional Standards for Teachers and Educators.

Earning Criteria

Successfully met the requirements of the Assessor Coach End-point Assessment delivered by Pearson as the registered EPAO. The End-point assessment consists of an Observation of Practice, and a Professional Discussion, underpinned by evidence provided in their showcase.

Completed a minimum of 15 months learning and development to meet the knowledge, skills, and behaviours in the Assessor Coach occupational standard.

Achieved the Level 4 Diploma in Assessor Coach. Achieved Level 1 Safeguarding, Level 2 Specialist ICT, and Level 2 English and Maths Qualifications.
Standards
The AC is a dual professional, using their up-to-date professional knowledge and skills to support vocational and professional development across the formal ETS as well as in any employer setting, and at any level. They may, for example, coach and assess apprentices, trainees or new recruits (ranging from young entrants, to new CEOs).
