Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid is a public education course open to anyone, designed to teach how to assist someone developing a mental health issue or experiencing a mental health crisis. The course now uses a blended format, including 2 hours of online, self-directed coursework to be completed by the listed due date. Upon completion, participants receive a certification valid for three years that can be added to a resume.

Earning Criteria

Complete 2 hour self-paced pre-work in Connect system

Complete 5 hour instructor lead portion either via zoom or in-person (whichever format the course is in) and with active participation in instruction

Complete post quiz and survey in Connect system with a 70% or better
