Leading with C.A.R.E.
Earners of the Leading with C.A.R.E. badge have integrated theoretical frameworks of character driven leadership into their approach supporting their peers as an active student leader. By reflecting on their own leadership styles, and applying theories of authenticity, inclusivity, and empathy to their practice leading peers, earners have developed deeper self-awareness of how their values shape their character and drive their approach to leading others effectively.
Participated in three faculty led skills workshops on Authentic Leadership, Inclusive leadership, and Emotional Intelligence.
Demonstrated theoretical understanding of authentic leadership, inclusive leadership, and emotional intelligence through discussions with peers in three post-workshop reflections.
Applied leadership skills developed through faculty-led seminars by serving in an active leadership role on campus supporting peers in D’Amore-McKim.
Completed a 3-page reflection paper articulating personal leadership strengths and how to leverage these effectively to lead others with confidence.
