TESOL I - Theory
Issued by
Northeastern State University
Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) is a growth industry worldwide. Gray Associates provided data in 2018 identifying at least thirty unfilled or unfillable positions in the area served by NSU. This number is only expected to increase with the steady influx of non-native English speakers into Eastern Oklahoma. Together, the proposed theory-based TESOL I and the practice-based TESOL II micro credentials will prepare students to obtain TESOL jobs or pursue graduate education.
