The financial services professional will complete seven four-week course modules with 270 hours of instructional content. The digital credential will be offered in tandem with the certificate to help recipients communicate their completion of the program via electronic means. Awarding of the certificate and digital credential requires the recipient to have already received a baccalaureate degree. This is a standard practice required by the CFP Board.

Standards
To earn the digital badge requires approximately 10 months to complete coursework. Preparing for the CFP® certification exam adds 60-90 days more. Participants should expect to complete the entire process in 12-13 months. Earners of the digital badge are prepared for the CFP® exam and prepared for financial management career advancement.
