Leadership Network Student Facilitator
Earners of this badge are high school student leaders who facilitate collaborative spaces to share similar lived experiences, passions, and interests with their peers. Facilitators ensure that NASSP Leadership Network programming, engagement, and communications are centered on the motivations, preferences, and needs of the student leader participants.

Earning Criteria

Earners of this badge are responsible for acting as the point of contact between the Leadership Network and a NASSP staff liaison. During each calendar year, facilitators participate in a two-hour facilitator onboarding training and four one-hour quarterly facilitator network meetings/trainings with NASSP staff and other Leadership Network facilitators.

Earners of this badge are responsible for establishing meeting times, developing meeting agendas and objectives, and facilitating meetings for a Leadership Network. Facilitators host one-hour monthly virtual network meetings and commit to at least one hour of planning and preparation in advance of the monthly meeting.

Earners of this badge are responsible for bringing the needs of the student leaders to NASSP and identify content areas to NASSP for programming.

Additionally, facilitators are responsible for the planning, convening, and facilitation of sessions during a two- to three-day in-person annual meeting.
