Earning Criteria

• Earners complete 2 hours of LinkedIn Learning content on the foundations of student learning objectives and effective teaching practices. Earners explore the Common Core K-12 standards and how to implement them in the classroom. Earners are equipped to design an organized and accurate course syllabus. Earners discover internet-based tools such as video and audio conferencing, learning management systems, and social media, for communicating and developing effective learning objectives.
• Earners complete 2 hours of LinkedIn Learning content to develop essential teaching skills, techniques, and strategies. Earners are able to create a classroom culture through the use of classroom management techniques to develop thoughtful learning goals and outcomes that increase achievement and decrease disruption. Earners learn how visual thinking strategies and project-based learning can create equal access to learning resources and opportunities for students.
• Earners complete 1 hour of LinkedIn Learning content on measurement and assessment techniques for student learning. Earners learn new models to assist in determining the effectiveness of student learning techniques. Earners discover how to create effective learning assessments that provide valuable feedback to learners and indications on areas of improvement to instructors.
• Earners complete 1 hour of LinkedIn Learning content on integrating and implementing technology into the classroom. Earners discover the "flipped classroom" method of technology integration for student learning. Earners can enhance instruction with discussions, activities, and multimedia through digital learning such as Microsoft PowerPoint. Earners are able to effectively transfer instruction from in-person to an online learning environment.
