Participants learn how to format a resume to comply with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and to format a resume to attract the attention of a recruiter. Participants use Quinncia to analyze and edit their resumes to ensure they are relevant, concise and reflect top skills and credentials in demand for their future careers.
Participants will use What Can I Do With This Major to analyze possible career options. Participants will also develop job search strategies, such as how to tap into their professional network, to maximize opportunities and effectiveness in securing a job.
Participants learn best practices for online presence and job-searching in a virtual world. Participants learn the importance of a professional brand and best practices for a LinkedIn profile. They will learn how to translate in-person professional presence to an online professional presence and enhance their social media platforms.
Participants craft talking points for individual strengths that showcase experiences and connect skills and strengths to what employers seek when hiring. Participants are confident and comfortable interviewing both virtually and in-person. Participants use Quinncia to analyze and enhance their interview skills using the virtual mock interview feature.
Participants can conduct research to assess offer letters. They are able to take the appropriate, professional steps in negotiating their compensation package.
