Pre-Law Institute Scholar is awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional levels of engagement and growth in their work with the Pre-Law Institute. Earners will display an understanding of the law school admissions process and demonstrate this through the quality of their work product (e.g. personal and diversity statements, law school resumés, and law school applications). Earners will have displayed engagement with the PLI, including participation in Pre-Law Boot Camps.

Earning Criteria

Students must have participated in at least one Boot Camp.

Students must have attended a minimum of three other PLI-sponsored or co-sponsored events (e.g., Law Day, Graduate and Professional School Fair, PLI Orientatiom, or law school/career panels).

Students must have participated in at least one PLI-sponsored or co-sponsored internship experience.

Students must have been accepted to and enrolled in the LSAT Prep course.

Students must have a consistent record of advisement with a PLI advisor over the course of their academic journey at the College

Earners of the PLI Scholar must have a substantially complete law school application dossier
