Earning Criteria

Complete the paced, online study segment on advanced, theoretical knowledge in second-language acquisition. Pass individual course-end assessments and a 120-item multiple-choice, comprehensive final exam with 70 or up. Complete a research project in course development. Teach actual TEFL trainees in a teaching practicum of 100 hours under the guidance of an experienced teacher trainer.

Give constructive feedback and further coaching. Assess the performance of prospective English teachers. Become familiar with career-support strategies. Prepare and teach the last four days of the required teaching practicum without trainer assistance to demonstrate your readiness to conduct your own teacher training.

The 120-Hour TEFL/TESOL Certification is accredited by IATquO. iTTi is member of IATEFL, TESOL.org, Chartered College of Teachers, NATE, ACTFL, TESOL France, TESOL LatAm
When working towards their teacher trainer qualification, graduates of the iTTi 120-Hour in-class or combined TEFL/TESOL Certification receive a waiver of the required three-year teaching experience requirement and credit for two courses: nsidered with one-year practical teaching experience.
