The Database Essentials Badge reinforces knowledge in the planning and design of a relational database including gathering requirements, data modeling and planning surrounding the implementation of the database. Focus is also applied in the design and construction or an Access database and in the optimization, normalizing data, data validation, usability and advanced queries, forms, and the development of Access reports.
