Pharmacy technicians play an important role as pharmacists’ roles transition to more clinically-focused tasks, technicians have an opportunity to assume expanded roles and responsibilities, including technician product verification (TPV). This series will focus on equipping the technician with the necessary skills for product verification, including knowledge of common medications, calculations, dosage forms and routes of administration, medication safety, and legal issues pertaining to TPV.
