The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt badge validates an individual’s ability to describe and apply the following concepts: Continuous process improvement, Lean concepts and its applications (5S, waste reduction, value stream mapping) basic statistical analysis methods, tools, and control charts. Emory-Certified Green Belt earners are prepared to identify potential process improvement opportunities, implement all five phases of DMAIC methodology and assist with Black Belt projects.
