Earning Criteria

  • Complete a pre- and post-test regarding the use of generative AI.
  • Attend three workshops offered by the Elon Writing Center, campus partners, or online, and write reflections after each workshop. Workshop topics are as follows: 1) Overview of the ethical decisions about AI-use and helping writers make these decisions; 2) Prompt engineering and editing AI output; 3) Different AI tools for writing, editing, and research.
  • Complete at least three appointments with clients using AI with reflections on how AI was utilized.
  • Complete an AI-enhanced writing assessment, which involves completing AI prompts and editing AI-generated output.
