Methods of instruction include audiovisual materials, case studies, classroom exercises, discussion, learner presentations, lecture, and practical exercises.

Students have 60 days to complete Part A by scoring 100 percent on each of three online tests, which are given after each of the three sections of this portion of the course. For Part B, there are a limited number of individual submissions and the student completes both a peer and a self-assessment. . Individual submissions must be 70 percent correct.. The exercises must be 90 percent correct for the group to earn a passing grade.
