Earning Criteria

There are two ways in which this credential can be earned:

Gifted: line managers claim the credential on behalf of the employee to recognise contributions to creating social impact as part of their role. This becomes part of Honest Conversations, facilitating social impact dialogue and culture for all.

Claimed: employees undertaking community action in or outside of work can claim the credential. This helps them think about and develop their sense of connection to our purpose.

To provide flexibility and ensure a steady flow of civic pride, this credential recognises work across three areas:

Skills for communities – the individual has participated in local interventions helping to develop and unlock skills.

Skills for causes – the individual has shared and used their skills to help shift the dial on systemic barriers and inequity.

Skills for charter – the individual has championed skills development in line with our charitable purpose.
