Utilising the CGGS By Design learning architecture, students empathised with their chosen community, defining the major challenges this community faces, and identifying gaps in the local service industry that could better support this community group. Students used multiple thinking routines to ideate practical solutions, selecting the most viable to be further refined through prototyping. Students then presented their work to the Year 9 cohort and staff for feedback and review.
