Earners of this Cities of Learning badge have demonstrated their skills in advocacy by engaging in a Barnardo's project designed to influence policy, service delivery or attitudes. They will have attended a series of events during which they will have articulated the views of the group they represent and applied the knowledge of their own lived experience in a professional context. They will have consistently utilised their communication skills and contributed to the process in a meaningful way.
Earning Criteria

Earner has received full briefing to understand the process and outcome of the advocacy activity they will be taking part in.

Earner has attended and actively contributed in a minimum of 3 activities in which their input has helped to shape the design or delivery of services or policy.

Has communicated issues relating to their or their peers lived experience effectively in a professional environment.

Earners must be involved in Barnardo's projects.
