Peer Health Advocates should be dedicated, empathetic, and committed to helping others. They are culturally sensitive and strive to meet the needs of a diverse student population. They are able to effectively communicate with others through active listening, nonjudgmental attitudes, and open-ended questions. They develop appropriate interpersonal boundaries with others and are able to document their work with peers as appropriate.
