The earner of the badge is capable of working with business team partners, identifying a business need (product or service), developing a SWOT analysis, and identifying the target market, method, and distribution place. The earner has developed and presented an idea using the “Shark Tank” business pitch model. Earners are able to identify key areas for success or failure of existing business and understand the four market structures and how these markets contribute to the economic system.

The earner successfully completed coursework in “Introduction to Business”. The earner wrote a reflection on how they demonstrated the abilities for the course and the Shark Tank business idea project, articulating the connection between the business concepts learned in class and the Shark Tank project. Additionally, this includes the following:
