Cynthia Calongne, aka Lyr Lobo, Professor, teaches computer science at Parker University in Dallas, Texas and is an XR/VR faculty champion. She taught 55 classes in virtual worlds. She conducts research at Virtual Harmony and hosted over 337 conference presentations. Her team won $25,000 for the Mars Expedition simulation and has a VR app that is in beta testing on the Oculus Quest 2. She received the Thinkerer award from Virtual Worlds Best Practices in Education 2017 and hosts the OpenSimulator Community Conference, is Education Co-Chair of the Nonprofit Commons Board, and TCC Hawaii.
