AFS Intercultural Programs
AFS Intercultural Programs is a global not-for-profit network that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world. AFS offers mobility and non-mobility learning opportunities for professionals, educators and students from all over the world, such as the award-winning Global Competence Certificate (GCC), the Student Learning Journey, the PEAK training for facilitators and the Youth Assembly.
2023 AFS Youth Assembly
This collection of badges are awarded to individuals tha participated in the AFS Youth Assembly, which took place in New York City from August 11 - 13, 2023, and included 800+ youth from 100 countries. Founded in 2004 with an alumni network of 20,000 people, the AFS Youth Assembly is a global platform that empowers the next generation with opportunities to connect with like-minded peers and influencers; develop global competence skills; and transform their vision for a better future into action.
