AFB Talent Lab
The AFB Talent Lab aims to meet the accessibility needs of the tech industry – and millions of people living with disabilities – through a unique combination of hands-on training, mentorship, and consulting services, created and developed by the digital inclusion experts at the American Foundation for the Blind. Through these experiences, we inspire and enable current and future tech industry talent to build accessible, inclusive digital products that reduce or eliminate barriers for people with disabilities around the world. In doing so, we’re innovating the future of digital inclusion.
AFB Talent Lab Participants Term 1
Term 1 of the AFB Talent Lab introduces participants to the foundations of digital inclusion, including legal and industry context, assistive technology, and the basics of accessibility and usability testing. The badges offered during Term 1 can only be earned by AFB Talent Lab Interns and Apprentices actively participating in the program who demonstrate the required skills and competencies as outlined in each badge.
