Recipients of the Wound Care -Advanced Skills digital credential can identify in detail how factors such as infection, and nutrition affect skin breakdown/wound healing. They understand the impact of chronic disease, stigma, and the social determinants of health on wound healing and management. They are able to respond to complex chronic wounds with evidence-informed approaches and recognize when advanced treatments or products are appropriate for use.
