This badge was awarded to those that have demonstrated a clear understanding of the ERTMS equipment required to support ETCS signalling. The badge holder will be able to describe the operation of the lineside equipment as well as the equipment installed on the train. Additionally the badge holder will be able to describe basic railway signalling concepts and an understanding of the inaccuracies of odometry equipment.
