Earners of this badge have demonstrated a good understanding of the 5G NR protocol stack and the higher layers. In particular they will be able to explain the transport responsibilities of the MAC, RLC and PDCP layers and explain how the control plane and user plane actions differ within each layer. They will be able to define the concept of Transport and Logical channels and their relationship to the Radio Bearers.
