The owner of this badge is aware of the need for a successor for GSM-R. They will be able to describe the requirements of an FRMCS system as defined by the UIC. They will be familiar with the UIC specifications for the FRMCS system and be able to describe the FRMCS system architecture. The holder will also understand the issues concerning radio spectrum for FRMCS. Additionally the holder has knowledge about how 5G can be used for FRMCS as well as the mission critical applications.
