This course introduces students to the user experience process of Human-Centered Design for designing and solving business problems.

Students conduct goal definition, user research, synthesis, ideation, create lo to high fidelity prototypes of an app, website or service and provide insight to their process for conducting these exercises. Students work individually and in groups of 3 or more.

Participate in the Design Challenge group project (continued in Visual Design).

Demonstrate the ability to apply human-centered design methods to solve a problem collaboratively and use storytelling to present findings.
