Advanced Crash Reconstruction builds upon the foundation of crash investigation knowledge gained in prerequisite courses to provide a further understanding of crash investigation and reconstruction techniques. Topics such as kinetic energy, impulse, and Delta V are expanded upon and the topics of conservation of momentum, time/distance, and airborne calculations are studied in more depth than in previous courses. In addition, students will be introduced to pedestrian crash investigation.

The methods of assessment include examinations, quizzes, performance rubrics/checklists, with a minimum passing score of 75%.
