They understand central aspects of Indigenous histories, including the impact of colonization, and recognize the continuum of Indigenous resilience. Earners can explain the importance of Indigenous sovereignty and the perseverance of Indigenous Traditional Knowledges, and are more conversant in Virginia Indigenous history and culture.
