Earners have the ability to understand coaching versus other modalities. They are competent in using both focused and global listening and have developed skill in asking powerful questions founded in the principles of effective coaching. They have the ability to utilize coaching questions as a tool and recognize the impact of coaching in developing deeper understanding for the coachee. Earners completed a year long program facilitated by ICF certified coaches as the trainers.

Earning Criteria

Participate in a focused introductory workshop on coaching facilitated by ICF certified coaches. Actively participate in a minimum of four coaching practice sessions with observation from an ICF-certified coach. Sessions must include both function as the coach and observation and evaluation of coaching of other participants.

Complete a reflection assessing understanding of coaching versus other modalities.
