Unit 2 of the ILM Level 3 Award in Effective Mentoring undertaking mentoring within an organisational context

Candidates choose to undertake this qualification as part of ongoing learning and development opportunities linked to their paid employment as a UWE Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) Senior Leader. Candidates are required to undertake a minimum of 6 hours of effective mentoring within an organisational context plus a 1 hour meeting with their supervisor / tutor.
Earning Criteria

Be able to plan and organise a minimum of 6 hours of effective mentoring with two mentees (PAL Leaders).

Be able to undertake and record a minimum of 6 hours of effective mentoring with two mentees (PAL Leaders).

Agree an appropriate and confidential contract with the mentees and other stakeholders.

To gain the badge students have been assessed against the ILM Level 3 Award in Effective Mentoring and passed all assessment criteria
