The course objective is to equip students with HTML proficiency, an understanding of its history, and use in web content creation. Students will explore internet infrastructure, tools for web development, and web domains. Students will define markup languages, dissect HTML documents, and apply HTML and CSS in practical scenarios for hands-on web development experience.

Standards
In the associate/certificate degree category OR in the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 3 semester hours in Computer Science or Information Technology.
