UNSW Tax and Business Advisory Clinic run by the UNSW School of Accounting, Auditing & Taxation offers free accounting and tax advisory services to individuals and small businesses in serious financial hardship. Under the supervision of CA/CPA-qualified clinical supervisors, students gain hands-on experience undertaking work for real clients. Students advance professional skills, technical skills, critical thinking, communication, teamwork, research, innovation, creativity and leadership skills.

Earning Criteria

Comprising both a clinical component (one full day per week) and a skills-based seminar component (1.5 hours per fortnight), Enrolled Students undertake work for real clients and have opportunities to analyse the effect of the tax system in practice. They also deliver in-community outreach education workshops to support and empower financially vulnerable people and communities.
