Professional and Career Development (PCD) Program Series

The PCD certification program is designed for transferable skill development and professional excellence. Its curricula seminar/workshop series are intended to address real-world workforce demands and provide a digital badge to showcase your achievements and share with employers and peers. Topics offered are Time management, Effective Mentoring, Professional Networking, Leadership, Public Speaking, Communication like Adobe Creative Suite, Data Science and AI, and Teaching Philosophy (workshop).

Earning Criteria

To earn the Professional and Career Development (PCD) series badge, you must attend a minimum of 4 PCD sessions in 1 academic year (fall, spring, summer).
Write up a 1/2 page to 1 page summary on what you learned in the minimum of 4 sessions attended. Submit your summary to gps@utsa.edu for review.
