Health Care Management
Managers are imperative in health care organizations, their role is different than management in other sectors, including the health care manager’s role on the interprofessional team. This session will review three prominent skills necessary for managers to lead health care organizations: Systems Thinking, Peter Drucker’s Five Basic Functions of the Manager, and Evidence-based Management.
