Earning Criteria

Attend a four hour, face-to-face, training session that introduces them to SGID and the research that supports the process.
Analyze student feedback on their learning.
Be able to constructively communicate focus group findings to instructors.
Categorize feedback in a report to effectively communicate strengths and opportunities for growth.
Shadow an experienced facilitator in conducting a complete SGID (pre-meeting with instructor, classroom SGID, and post-meeting with instructor).
